1-Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah
Mohammad Ali Jinnah, born on 25 December 1876, is considered the greatest national hero of Pakistan. He is known in Pakistan as "Quaid-e-Azam" which means "the greatest leader", and also as "Baba-i-Qaum" which means "father of the nation". He was a great politician, lawyer and the founder of Pakistan, he struggled hard to get a separate homeland for the Muslims of India. The birthday of Quaid-e-Azam is observed in Pakistan as a "national holiday", although he died on 11 September 1948, just over a year after independence but till now he is the greatest the leader of Pakistan.
2-Allama Mohammad Iqbal
Mohammad Iqbal, born on 09 November 1877, is regarded as the second greatest national hero in the history of Pakistan. He is officially known in Pakistan as a "national poet" and he is also called "Mufakkir-i-Pakistan" which means "The thinker of Pakistan" and also known as "Hakeem-ul-Ummat" which means "The sage of the Ummah". Allama Mohammad Iqbal was not only a poet but also a politician, a philosopher, scholar and a barrister. He played his greatest role in inspiring the "Pakistan Movement" till now his birthday is observed in Pakistan as "Iqbal DAY".
3-Fatima Jinnah
Fatima Jinnah, born on the 30 July 1893, is also included in this list because of her leading role in the independence of Pakistan. She was a professional Pakistani Dental surgeon, stateswoman, biographer and also included in the list of the founders and activists of the Pakistan Movement. Fatima Jinnah is widely known in Pakistan as "Mader-e-Millat" which means the "Mother of the The nation" and also "Khatun-e-Pakistan" which means the "Lady of Pakistan". Fatima Jinnah was an adviser and a close associate to her older brother Quaid-e-Azam, she died on 09 July 1967.
4-Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan
NawabzadaLiaquat Ali Khan, born on October 1895, is considered one of the great national heroes of Pakistan. He is commonly known in Pakistan as "Shaheed-e-Millat" which means "The Martyr of the Nation". Liaquat Ali Khan was included among the founders and activists of the Pakistan Movement, who struggled hard in the achievement of Pakistan. He is a lawyer, statesman and political theorist and after independence, he became the first Prime Minister of Pakistan and he also served as the first Defence Minister of Pakistan, he was assassinated on 16 October 1951.
5-Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan
Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, born on 01 April 1936, comes on the number three in the list of the great heroes of Pakistan. He is mostly known as A. Q. Khan, he is a metallurgical engineer, nuclear physicist of Pakistan and also the founder of the uranium enrichment program for the atomic bomb project of Pakistan, he also established and founded the "Kahuta Research Laboratories" in 1976 and he serves to serve as both its Director-General and also its senior scientist till his retirement. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is also known as "The Father of the Islamic Bomb".
6-Dr. Samar Mubarakmand
Dr. Samar Mubarakmand, born on 17 September 1942, is regarded as one of the national heroes of Pakistan. He is basically a nuclear physicist and he is famous for his research in "gamma spectroscopy" and also for his experimental development of the "linear accelerator". Dr. Samar Mubarakmand got the attention of the whole nation when he offered his services as the director of those test teams which are responsible for performing the first successful atomic tests of the country at the "Chai Test Site" which is situated in Balochistan province of Pakistan.
7-Dr. Abdus Salam
Mohammad Abdus Salam, born on 29 January 1926, comes on number seven in the list of the national heroes of the Pakistan. He was basically a theoretical physicist of Pakistan and a major figure in the theoretical physics of 20th century. Because of his contribution to the remarkable electroweak unification, Dr. Abdus Salam shared Nobel Prize in Physics in 1979 and became the first Pakistani who had the honour of receiving the Nobel prize. He also served as a top-level science advisor to the Pakistani's Government, he died on 21 November 1996.

Abdul SattarEdhi, born on 01 January 1928, is also included in the list of the top ten heroes of Pakistan. He is a most famous philanthropist, ascetic, social activist and also humanitarian of Pakistan. Abdul SattarEdhi is the head and also the founder of the "Edhi Foundation" and regarded as a "greatest living humanitarian of the world". He has received a great number of national and international awards for his services, he has received "Ramon Magsaysay Award" in 1986 and he was also awarded the "Nishan-e-Imtiaz by Pakistani Government in 1985.
9-Benazir Bhutto
Benazir Bhutto, born on 21 June 1953, is also included in the list great heroes of Pakistan. She was the eleventh Prime Minister of Pakistan, who served the nation in 1988-90 and after that in 1993-96 and became the first woman of any Muslim nation who take the responsibilities of head of state and also the first and only woman Prime minister of Pakistan. She belonged to a Bhutto family which was politically powerful and also the daughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Benazir Bhutto was assassinated on 27 December 2007 in a bombing.
General Raheel Sharif, born on 16 June 1956, is also regarded as a great hero of Pakistan. He is basically a four-star rank army general, who is since 2013 serving as the fifteenth " Chief of Army Staff" of the Pakistan Army. General Raheel Sharif is considered the most respected Chief of the Pakistan Army, he has played a major role in the war on terror. General Raheel Sharif came to the public attention as an initiator of a successful operation named, "Zarb-e-Azab” against Jihadists, Taliban and other terrorists.
