Lastly, I am going to share with you some information about another great and notable American astronomer of all time and that is Benjamin Banneker, born on 09 November 1731. He was basically a free African American famous "almanac author", naturalist, surveyor and also a farmer. Benjamin Banneker had a great knowledge of astronomy that's why he wrote a successful series of "almanacs", he died on 09 October 1806.
