3-Congo Rain Forest

6-Valdivian Temperate Rainforest
On the number six, there comes another natural and most famous rain forest of the world and that is the Valdivian Temperate Rainforest. It is regarded as the third largest forest in the world, it covers more than 248,100 square kilometers area of the world. You can imagine about its length by if you compare its length with the total area of Great Britain and the Northern Ireland, even than this forest is larger. 7-The Monteverde Forest
Among the list of the largest and very famous forests of the world, The Monteverde Forest is also included and comes with the number seven. This beautiful and largest forest is basically situated in the city of Monteverde, Costa Rica. A great number of tourists from all over the world are drawn towards the Costa Rica, just because of enjoying the natural beauty of this forest. The Monteverde Forest is home to more than thirty species of the hummingbirds, more than four hundred species of other birds and one hundred species of mammals.
8-Sinharaja Rain Forests
The Sinharaja Rain Forests are regarded as the eighth most notable and largest forests of the world and most prominent and beautiful rain forests of Srilanka. The Sinharaja Rain Forests are usually located in the southwest Srilankan lowland wet zone, it was declared by UNESCO in 1978 as a biosphere reserve. These magnificent forests are considered home to a large number of endemic birds, butterflies, trees, mammals and other rare insects.
9-Tongass Temperate Rainforest
Tongass Temperate Rainforest is also included in our list of the most notable and largest forests of the world. This temperate rainforest is located on the Southeastern side of "Alaska", and it is considered the largest forest of the United States, stretching up to a size of more than 68,062 square kilometers. The Tongass Temperate Rainforest has been divided into the nineteen designated wilderness areas.
In the last, there comes another most famous and largest forest of the world and that is the Sundarbans forest of Bangladesh, Asia. This beautiful forest is more than 10,000 square kilometers large and it encompasses almost the complete Bangladesh along with the forty percent area of India. The Sundarbans forest has been now designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, it is regarded as the home of Tiger, the famous white Bengal.
