It is considered the most social species and people are fascinated with it because it presents the most spectacular view by showing its beautiful spins, flips and amazing jumps outside of the water. 3-Striped Dolphin
The Striped Dolphin comes on the number three in the list of the most famous and loved dolphin species in the world. In some locations, they are known as streakers because they can move rapidly to avoid the boats in the water. Striped Dolphin species has a distinctive coloration, that's why it can be easily distinguished from other species, it has usually white and blue stripes on its body. 4-Chinese White Dolphin
The fourth most well known and astonishing species of dolphin is the Chinese White Dolphin. It is basically a medium-sized species of dolphin. They are mostly either of white color or of light gray, moreover, they can also be of pink color, in fact, the difference of colors depends on the location where they live. According to experts, their color changing is due to the changing of blood vessels because of the different changes in temperature where they live.
5- Atlantic Spotted Dolphin
The Atlantic Spotted Dolphin is also included in our list of the most famous and largest dolphin species in the world. It is basically included among the large-sized dolphin species, its average size is more than 7 feet and its weight varies from 240 to 360. Atlantic Spotted Dolphin is named because of its unique spots all over the body, the top of its body is mostly dark black or dark gray while its lower body is of cream or white color.
6-Clymene Dolphin
The Clymene Dolphin is considered the sixth loved and well known of all dolphin species. The approximate length of an adult Clymene Dolphin can be almost 6 feet and 6 inches and weight can be about 200 pounds. Clymene Dolphin can move very easily and fastly through the water because of its very slender body. These dolphins have basically three layers of different colors, dark gray, light gray and white, they are very similar to spinner dolphin in their appearance.
7-Commerson’s Dolphin
The Commerson’s Dolphin is regarded as the second most fascinating and well-known dolphin species. This dolphin is usually different in size and weight due to the difference of location, its size varies from 4 to 5 feet and its weight can be more than 190 pounds, the interesting thing about this dolphin species is that the females are larger than males. Commerson’s Dolphin is basically tapered at the ends, that's why its body design is considered excellent for swimming.
8-Common Dolphin
The Common Dolphin comes on the number eight in the list of the most famous and loved dolphin species in the world. The two species of common dolphin are Long-Beaked Common Dolphin and Short-Beaked Common Dolphin. The size of the Common Dolphin varies from 6 to 9 feet and its weight varies from 160 to 500 pounds, the males are usually a bit larger than the females. This species of dolphin is usually found in those bodies of water that have a warm temperature.
9-Dusky Dolphin
The ninth most well known and astonishing species of dolphin is the Dusky Dolphin. This species of dolphin is very closely related to another well-known species the Pacific White Sided Dolphin. The Dusky Dolphin is basically a small sized species of dolphin, its size varies from 5 to 6 feet and its weight vary from 150 to 187 pounds. The head of Dusky Dolphin is sloped which looks unique but it can be easily identified just because of this distinct feature.

Fraser’s Dolphin is no doubt a very beautiful creature, its coloring ranges from dark black, dark gray or dark blue, like other dolphin species, it does not have a different color on the belly.
