It is rightly said that lying is probably invented even before the invention of communication. There are a lot of reasons for lying and most important and common reason of lying is to lie in order to hide the secrets. There are certain facts and truths about everyone that they cannot share them with others, and they consider it best to keep them hidden. That's why when they have to face such type of situation they find lying easier than to share those embarrassing truths with others.

It is true that almost all societies and all religions are against the lying but the fact is that this society and the people around us force us to speak a lie. Another reason because of which people have to speak lies is "to please others". All of us have to face such type of situations in our daily lives when we have to lie in the reply to questions such as "Did you like my gift?", "How do I look?" and many others, just for the pleasure of others.

It is true there are only a small number of people living on this earth, who are ready every time to help others and to give favour others. Although the lies which are spoken in order to boast, are not very harmful but really cheap and very common among us. Another very common and innocent reason for lying is the lying in order to "avoid the long conversations". This type of lie is also harmless, but it is true a great number of people are involved in it. People have to lie in order to avoid a long unneeded advice, irritating questions and bitter criticism. We are not in the mood of bearing the advice and questioning of others that's why we have to lie to avoid all these things.

The most common and important reason that forces people to speak a lie is to evade themselves from punishments. It seems a natural reason for lying and almost all people are involved in it, except a few extraordinary and superb people. From our childhood, we begin to lie in order to avoid the punishments of teachers, then we continue to lie to our parents, superiors and even our spouses in order to avoid ourselves any kind of penalty.
7-To Get Benefits
On the number seven, there comes in our list, another very common and famous reason of lying and that is the lying in order to get benefits from others. Almost all people are involved in it, mostly the people have to lie to their superiors to get benefits, all the traders, businessmen and even shopkeepers lie to their customers, clients and business partners to get benefits and they consider it a part of the business.
8-To Prove a Point
Another very common and interesting reason of lying is the lying in order to "prove a point". Some people who consider themselves extremely genius and they have an impact on their relatives and friends, usually have to lie in order to prove their point. Because they consider it a great insult to them, if their point of view proved wrong, that's why they are forced to lie in order to prove their point.

On the number nine, there comes in our list, another very common and famous reason of lying and that is the lying in order to be fit for the society. To speak lie has become the basic need in our society, many people who do not want to speak lie but our society forces them to lie. In the end, I am going to share with you most heinous and harmful reason of lying and that is the lying in order "to create troubles for others". There are some people who are really the cancer of a society, they cannot bear to see someone getting success and happiness in his life. So, these jealous people speak lie in order to create problems for others, because they love to see others in troubles.
