1-Nazca Lines
The Nazca Lines is, in fact, the most strange unsolved mystery, it is an isolated and arid plateau in southern Peru. The people of the Nazca culture removed the red stones from the ground and beneath these stones, the beautiful white earth was visible during the years from 400 to 650 AD. They created phenomenal art on this white earth, some of the designs are just simple lines and more than seventy are detailed designs of animals. It is really an unsolved mystery that how did such a primitive civilization achieve this remarkable precision artwork.
2-Mayerling Incident
Mayerling Incident is another a very interesting unsolved mystery, it is basically an official story. Crown Prince of Austria, named Rudolf had a love affair with beautiful Baroness Mary, during a family dinner, the prince left his family and went his hunting lodge named 'Mayerling". Here Mary was also invited by the prince so that he could spend time with her but next morning, one of his staff members found prince and Mary dead. It seems like a murder-suicide because the prince had a gun in his hand but nobody knows what the real story is.
3-Mary Celeste
Mary Celeste was basically a British merchant ship, which was found adrift on 5th December 1872 in the Atlantic Ocean but all its crew and passengers were missing. It was surprising that the ship had no sign of a struggle and contained a plenty of water and food and also contained a complete untouched cargo. The one and only abnormality were that a single lifeboat was missing from here, despite an investigation of so many years, none of the crew or passengers were ever heard or seen.
4-Bermuda Triangle
The Bermuda Triangle is no doubt a greatest surprising unsolved mystery of the world. It is basically a section or part of the ocean in the "western North Atlantic", here ships and aircraft have mysteriously disappeared. There is a list of a great number of ships and aircraft that disappeared from this section of the ocean under very suspicious circumstances, even the search and rescue plane that went to Bermuda Triangle looking for the missing plane and boats, could not return again.
5-Jack The Ripper
Jack the Ripper, a sadistic serial murderer, living in the "Whitechapel" which is an impoverished area of London. This mysterious killer began to kill the prostitutes brutally in 1888, Jack the Ripper used to send very sensational letters to the local press club and his letters created a great panic situation throughout the city. But the Scotland Yard was completely failed to solve this mystery, no one could bring the facts to light about the Ripper.
6-Tomb of Alexander the Great
On the number six, there comes another very surprising and strange unsolved mystery of the universe is included in our list and that is about the Tomb of Alexander the Great. It is said, that Alexander the Great basically died in Babylon about which he was foretold by a naked philosopher named "Calanus". But there is a great discussion about the Tomb of Alexander the Great but still we do not know the fact that where his tomb is.
7-Taos Hum
The seventh most strange unsolved mystery that is included in our list of the most surprising unsolved mysteries of the universe and that is about the Taos Hum. Taos Hum is basically a small town, located in New Mexico, in 1990, the residents of this town began to claim that they could hear a strange buzzing or humming sound, a droning whir. A research was conducted to solve the mystery and it was claimed that almost 2 percent of the population could hear that surprising noise but what the noise was, it is still a mystery.
8-SS Ourang Medan
The SS Ourang Medan is also considered one of the most surprising and fascinating unsolved mysteries of the world. It was basically a ghost ship and there are a great number of rumors and stories about it but nobody knows about the real story. The SS Ourang Medan became a shipwreck in the Indonesian waters but the captain and other crew of it were dead. Even the messenger who had told about this incident died during the message transmission process.
9-The Loch Ness Monster
The Loch Ness Monster is also regarded as a strange and surprising unsolved mystery of the world. On 06 December 1933, the famous newspaper "Daily Express" published the photo of a strange creepy monster, that was shown lurking in the "Scotland's Loch Ness". A great number of scientific studies and police investigations have been conducted on this strange creature since that day, but still no solid evidence can be found in order to verify this creature.
In the last, another very sad and shocking unsolved mystery of the world and that is about the Dyatlov Pass incident. The Dyatlov Pass incident was about the nine hikers who attempted to scale the "Dead Mountain" of Russia. On 02 February 1959, nine young hikers had lost their lives in very strange mysterious circumstances. The dead bodies of these nine ski hikers found were found after ten days by a massive search party but they were strange injuries on their bodies, no one knows the real story till now.
