According to experts, the occurrence of gout is to some extent genetic, the recent research shows that three genes are basically associated with this painful disease gout, any kind of variation in these genes can double the risk to a great extent.

Another cause of this irritating and painful disease is to be overweight. Being overweight basically increases the chances of gout because there is more production of the uric acid in the form of a metabolic waste product, due to the extra turnover of body tissues. Moreover, if your body fat is on the higher level then it also increases the systemic inflammation levels.

These sweet sodas or Fructose beverages basically contain a great amount of fructose, which is really very harmful for us. The use of these fructose-sweetened drinks not only causes diabetes but it is also strongly associated with the increased risk of gout, so it is better to avoid these drinks.

If you will not get enough fluids, then your body is dehydrated, and this dehydration basically increases the amount of the uric acid, but also decreases the ability of your kidney to get rid of this extra amount of uric acid. Because the Starvation or very-low-energy diets increase the blood urate levels and cause gout.
